Back the Senior Men 1st XV

1. Pick a player below. Somebody you know, or anyone at all if you just want to back the squad.
2. You give 50c for every point their team scores, capped at €5 a game. A big win costs you a fiver. A quiet week costs you nothing. Never more than €75 a season.
3. Nothing is taken until a game is actually played. Charges are collected once a week and you get a receipt with the result on it.
4. Stop whenever you like, by emailing the club. No notice, no fuss.

Parents already pay membership. This is not aimed at them. It is aimed at the people around a player who would happily chip in a few euro and have never been asked:

• Grandparents, who are usually the first to say yes
• Aunts, uncles and godparents, near or far
• Family friends and neighbours who ask how the rugby is going
• A local business you deal with. The tradesman, the shop, the garage. Business sponsorship of the club is a separate thing with its own packages, so if a company wants to do more than this, put them on to the club.

Two or three people per player is the whole job. Nobody needs to give a lot.
